Aaron Beitia is an Illustrator, Designer, Muralist, Body Artist and Painter based out of Oakland California. Of African-American and Puerto Rican heritage his perspective can be abstract, distinctive, colorful and vibrant. With a desire to get real world experience, he sought education in the form of Travel,Genetic Lineage, Visual Literacy through Arts and Culture, and Community building through education. He is interested in shaping culture through avenues of Traditional Art and Digital Art.Breaking the mold through none traditional techniques. His compositions are intuitive and often seeks to reflect moments throughout present day history and realities that shape his community. His artistic practice centers on creating empowering representations of Local Natives. He works between the street and studio, using mediums from acrylic paint, aerosol and digital media. He has produced gallery work and murals throughout Oakland,California and Charlotte, North Carolina.He has curated his own shows and is now collaborating with Local Breweries here in the Bay Area highlighting his art through beer and education.
